Available databases

Web of Science (Clarivate).  Annually compiling more than 12,000 scientific journals from all scientific fields, this database allows for the calculation of various bibliometric indicators on scientific production’s volume, collaborative practices and impact.

PubMed. Compiled by the National Library of Medicine, this database provides a comprehensive coverage of scientific publications in medical research. Thanks to a detailed system of indexing (Medical Subject Headings), it also allows to precisely identify the various subjects constituting the field of medical research.

Érudit. Made up of more than 100 scholarly journals from Quebec and Canada, mainly from the fields of arts and humanities and social sciences, this database complements the coverage provided by our other bibliographic databases.

USPTO. With more than 300,000 patents granted annually by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), this database measures inventiveness and intellectual property in Canada, the United States and the world.

Patstat. This database, compiled by the European Patent Office, contains the information from patents applications as well as granted patents filed in more than 80 national and international intellectual property offices.

TriCouncil data warehouse   OST has compiled and standardized in a data warehouse the information from all scholarships and research grants awarded since the late 1990s by the three major federal research funding councils (SSHRC, NSERC and CIHR).
